The Library Media Program is the heart of the school. Where students are nurtured to grow and develop a love of reading, deeper understanding of the world of information and an appreciation of their own talents and interest, paving their way to a successful future.

DMS Media Mission Statement
In partnership with teachers, the School Library Media program empowers students to be enthusiastic readers, critical thinkers, skillful researchers, and ethical users and producers of information in a global society.
Check Out Policy
Books are checked out for a two week time period. Over due books carry a fine of 10 cents per day. Magazines are checked out for a time period of 1 day. Over due fines for magazines are 25 cents per hour.

Discus is South Carolina's Virtual Library. This is the place to go for research!
