Congratulations to Mrs. Kim Haynes - DMS Teacher of the Year   The Darlington Middle School faculty and staff would like to offer our congratulations to Mrs. Kim Haynes our DMS Teacher of the Year.  Mrs. Haynes has been chosen as an honor roll teacher for the Darlington County School District and is a finalist for district teacher of the year.

SURVIVOR - DMS is the new reading incentive program for all Darlington Middle School students. Students earn points by reading Accelerated Reader books and passing the AR quiz on the book read. Points earned help your tribe compete against the other tribes.    The school is divided into 3 tribes. Medieval Tribe (6th grade) Explorer Tribe (7th grade) Carolina Tribe (8th grade) Each month, the three tribes will compete to find out which two tribes will be eliminated and which tribe will be left standing. The tribe left standing will earn the CHALLENGE WINNER banner to be displayed on their hallway for one month

Parent Resource Center

You may find our Parent Resource Center in the lobby of our school. Also, the school district sponsors a district parent resource center located at the BA Gary Complex at 100 Magnolia Street, Darlington. 

You Can Make a Difference for Our School with Box Tops!  Clip Box Top coupons from favorite products and send them to our school.  Shop at your favorite online stores through the Box Tops MarketplaceSM (btfe.com/marketplace), and up to 8% of your qualifying purchase will automatically be donated to our school with no additional cost to you!  Purchase books through the Box Tops Reading RoomSM at Barnes & Noble.  We have recently launched our 2009-2010 Box Tops for Education fundraising campaign. This year we have set a goal of earning $500.00 through Box Tops to purchase robotics materials and sponsor multiple First Lego League Teams.
